ABOUT

Welcome to My Little Corner of the Internet!

Hi, I'm Felicia — the heart behind this blog. I’m a lifelong learner who once dreamed of becoming an art teacher. But as life unfolded and our family grew, I followed a different path: one rooted in tradition, hard work, and hands-on living. Alongside my husband, we've built a meaningful life centered on raising our family the old-fashioned way — harvesting, preserving, mending, fixing, and creating a home full of purpose.

Harvest and Handmade was born from a simple idea: to share inspiration, practical wisdom, and a sense of connection. Whether you’re here to learn something new, discover a fresh perspective, or simply take a thoughtful pause in your day—you’ve found the right place.

Here, you’ll find hands-on tips and how-to guides, favorite recipes, honest recommendations, and meaningful resources. And every now and then, a personal story to remind us we’re all in this together.

If something here speaks to you, I’d love for you to stick around. Subscribe for updates, leave a comment, or share a post that resonates. This blog is a true labor of love, and it grows with every read, share, and conversation.

I’m so glad you’re here—let’s grow, create, and learn together.

Thanks so much for visiting — and welcome!
